Jule Posadowsky, born and raised near Hamburg, completed her studies in Costume Design at the University of the Arts in Berlin in the class of Florence von Gerkan and Lisa Meier. She lives and works in Berlin. Additionally, she is part of the initiative critical.costume.
As a costume designer, she focuses on using everyday clothing to create characters that feel authentic and complex. She believes that the most compelling costumes come from the subtle details of real life, therefore she creates costumes that not only reflect a character's personality but also tell a deeper story about their world and experiences. In her costume designs she blurs the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary, creating designs that resonate with both realism and emotional depth.
